Flair cancellation policy is a no-nonsense affair, with most reservations being non-refundable. Unless you snagged the ‘Flex’ add-on or fall under a lucky exception. Basically, you’re stuck with the cost if you have to cancel, no matter the reason. But there are a few exceptions:

  • You have 24 hours after booking a Canada-USA or international flight to get a full refund, minus a small cancellation fee.
  • If Flair cancels your flight for reasons beyond their control, like bad weather, you can choose between a full refund or rebooking on a similar trip.
  • And, if Flair cancels your flight within 2 weeks of departure for reasons they could’ve controlled (not safety-related), you might be owed at least $125 CAD.

Now, the ‘Flex’ add-on is your golden ticket to cancellation freedom. It lets you cancel for any reason and get a travel credit, minus the cancellation fee, that’s good for 2 years. But the cancellation fee itself depends on your fare and route.
