Eyelashes keep dust and other things from getting into our eyes. Sadly, as we get older, our eyelashes fall out, leaving us with much less defense against the outside world.

What would make them do that? Let’s look into why our eyelashes are getting thinner and what we can do to fix it.

Several things cause our eyebrows to shrink with age. But which ones happen most often?

Genes and Evolution

You had between 90 and 150 eyelashes on each eye when you were born. Several things, mostly genetics, determined how many eyebrows you were born with.

If your relatives came from a very cold place, you nearly certainly had longer eyelashes than people who came from hot places. Each eye probably has 150 to 200 lashes by the time you’re an adult. This is different for each person because of their genes and the way they live their lives.

Hormones balance

When a woman goes through menopause, her eyelashes may start to fall out. Eyebrows that are getting thinner may be a sign that menopause has begun. Menopause is to blame for a lot of big changes that happen to your body as you get older. Your body’s hormones change a lot during menopause.

During menopause, hair loss is common from head to toe. Your eyelashes and eyebrows are no different. Less estrogen in your body during menopause can hurt hair cells all over your body.

It doesn’t matter where on your body your hair is; it will likely get thinner, frizzier, lighter, and more split. You might even notice that your wavy hair starts to straighten on its own.

Also, we make less prostaglandin after menopause. As a growth hormone, prostaglandin helps our eyelashes and eyebrows grow better.

Not just menopause; any fast change in our hormone levels can make our hair look bad. It’s the same reason why we lose our hair after giving birth.

Strength of Eyelashes

Along with losing thickness, you may also notice that your eyelashes are getting thinner. In other words, your eyelashes are only half as long as you remember them being, even the longest ones. The length of the lash and the effectiveness of the hair are both important. careprost 3ml is use for longer eyelashes.

In the first place, the lash is more fragile, so it’s more likely to break in the middle of the fiber than at the root. Second, the follicle may be having trouble because it doesn’t have enough estrogen or other support proteins. It has to work extra hard to make the lash grow at all while still following the lash growth cycle, so it can only manage a shorter lash.

These new cracks happen because the roots of the eyelashes aren’t making enough oil. The natural oils would keep the lashes moist and healthy, and when the oil dries out, it makes the lashes less flexible. Lashes that are already there may fall out more often because the follicles are weaker and oil production drops.

Now, eyebrows are already pretty weak. As a normal part of the growth process, even young eyes lose between one and five eyelashes every day.

You might guess that you need to be extra careful not to break a fiber that is already very flimsy when it gets even more fragile. First, you should get rid of your manual lash curler. This is because manual curlers that twist the lashes often break your delicate lashes.
